For everyone that doesn't already know Raidcall is a software program that enables you to Instant message and voice chat with friends. Like Skype and Ventrillo. However Raidcall uses a lot less CPU however that Skype.

I am proud to announce that PSNation is growing older.

It has been a fun struggle but we've done it. I am thankful for everyone who has stuck with us for this long and I will let you know that we are working on positive changes.

Changes that will open PSNation to more games than just Call of Duty and Battlefield. Even expanding from the FPS genre and loosening up on the military structure. We were trying to implement this before today but alas, we did not have the resources to achieve a sufficient result.

Nonetheless this is a grand day for PSNation as it symbolizes strength and endurance. I would like to keep on going and see the base grow stronger and flourish with all you wonderful members to back me and each other in any struggle we have ahead.

When all is said I would just like to tell you how appreciative I am for all the help and good times you all have given me. Today, my friends, you shall wear the Tag PSNation with pride and honor.

Congratulations goes to Woodentable who is our January MVP !!! In what can be described as a 'quiet period' for clans as a whole, Wooden throughout January has dedicated a lot of time and effort to drive a significant number of changes in the clan (most of which cannot be seen by the rank and file yet) and for this we thank him.

Elite Clan Tag

Due to the continued delay by Treyarch to sort out the Clan Tag issues and the fact we had passed level 10 we have today changed from PS-N to PSNx.
If you are not currently a member of Elite and want to take part in Clan Ops etc we have made a single cost of 100 practise credits for the time being for enrolement. Remember you can also earn credits for partaking in Ops. All current rules are available in the forum.

Black Ops 2 Clan Operations Start 1st December...

Details are still sketchy (due to the flakey nature of Elite still!!) but Clan Ops start again tonight for Black Ops 2. First up is Core TDM at 6pm tonight (GMT). All Elite team members can apparently score this time around so we need as many people as possible to help and get the Clan up and running. Lets see how long it takes us to max out these levels and retain our position as one of the top clans. Dependant upon how the scoring goes, credits will be up for grabs like last year, so chances for everyone to fill their boots.
I will keep updating the red shoutbox on days of challenges so everyone knows the times , game modes etc.
I will be using results over the coming weeks to 'clean' our Elite membership so that only active participants are included, in line with our clan rules and ready for the new membership coming on board.

Black Ops 2 Released! PSNation Updates.

Forum Reshuffle

You may have noticed that a few forums have switched around, that is indeed the case! The forums have been shuffled around a bit to be more clear, prevent clutter, and centralize information. Many unnecessary forums have been removed. The content within the forums is still being modified and brought up to date, but the structure of the actual forums is here to stay. Hopefully things will now be more clear/easier to find for users of all ranks.

Modified Bootcamp Process

That's right! We decided it was time to update our bootcamp process with a new game. We brought back IS squads for the Call of Duty brigade, Crusader (IS) Squad of the first battalion will be lead by Dyno while Lancer (IS) of second battalion will be lead by Chrazy1337. These Squad Leaders are temporary while we get everything set and going, you will be able to apply for IS Squad Leader within the upcoming weeks. All members going through the bootcamp process will have to spend a minimum of a week in an introductory squad, and once they've attended two practices will be put into evaluation of the IS Squad leader to see if they are suit to be put into a Standard (ST) squad. This won't be a strict evaluation - we just want to see that the member is able to use their microphone, is the age they claim to be, and actually attend practice. Hopefully this will help with general quality control, and have less room for inactive members in squads.

As for Battlefield - the recruit will be put into a (ST) Standard squad temporarily for evaluation after two practices by the Squad Leader as the Battlefield brigade does not receive enough new recruits to warrant an Introductory Squad.

Resulting from the minor squad shuffle, Nighthawk (ST) and Cobra (ST) squads have now been merged.

Second Lieutenant Temporarily Removed

The rank of Second Lieutenant has temporarily been removed as there is no longer a need for Drill Instructors. This is not permanent, the rank will open up again in the near future with a different responsibility. Stay tuned for updates.

Casual Discussion

We now have a new forum category called 'Casual Discussion' which was part of the forum reshuffle. The subforums are meant take some of the serious focus off the clan and provide a fun space for members to browse around in and post in for fun. Check it out and please post!

Member Cleanup

Many members from Call of Duty brigade first battalion squads have been swept for inactivity. Be sure to stay active and check the forums! Please notify us in the On Leave Requests forum if you plan on being inactive.

Practice Suspension

All squads in the Call of Duty brigade will have a practice suspension for 7 days [potentially longer]. We need time to evaluate how private lobbies work in Black Ops 2, create a standard practice agenda, and create callouts for Black Ops 2. More information will be provided shortly, but as of now, no squads have practice this week. I can almost guarantee there will be a party of PSNation playing Black Ops 2 all of the time this week, be sure to ask around in Shoutbox/Playstation Network if you need a party to join in the meantime.

PS-N Reach Level 50 in MW3 Elite !!

As we have reached Level 50 on Elite we have gained our 12 hours of Double XP, along with a new title, emblem and a Prestige Token. Thank you to all who have participated in the Clan Operations so far and those who continue to do so on a regular basis. It looks like a brave new world with Black Ops 2 and we are yet to see fully how this will map out for Elite.

For those who havn't managed to gain the required Practice Credits remember you can gain an extra 5PP for gaining an MVP in your practice sessions, Attend another squads practice as a 'Guest' for an additional 5PP and recruit new members for some serious amounts of practice points!.
